How I did my Hat:
1. because I did not find golden bells, i had to paint them gold.
2. I painted the shape of the hatplate on a thick cardboard and
molded the shapes on the plate with air drying clay.
3. I formed the hat out of wire and used Vensey's tutorial as a guide.

Then i covered the wire with A LOT of stuffing.
Here you can see the formed wire from above.
4. I covered the "frame" with dark brown felt and sewed the differed pieces together.
5. Here you can see the half painted hadplate.
Of cause its only the subsurface of the plate.
I've painted the plate in a golden-bronze color later,
but don`t habe a close up photo of it.
6. Here is a close up from the (i guess) coin.

I have font a close up from the painted hat plate,
but the photo is noot to good, its pretty orange..
